I got my master’s degree in interior architecture at the University of Antwerp in 2017. Afterwards I went to Mechelen to follow the VOMO course, a one-year specialization in furniture design. During this year I did an internship at the Belgian furniture company ‘Bulo’, where I worked for two and a half years in the product development team while curating and managing all international trade shows for the brand.
In the middle of 2020 during the Covid-breakout, I decided to start working as an independent interior designer and focus on private projects. Ranging from residential projects, offices, retail spaces, and hospitality.
Most of my work is focused between Knokke and Antwerp, I’m often on the road so get in touch if you would like to schedule an appointment to see if I could mean something for your future projects!
See you soon, Sofie
Feel free to call me or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to get to know each other. Every project is unique so how I work can vary from project to project depending on what my client expects of me.
I usually start by visiting the site and going over the clients expectations (we call this ‘the program of demands’). Then I go back to the drawing board and start desiging. My first proposal usually consists of renderings, floorplans and/or photoshops depending on the amount of modifications.
